Sony Ericsson Xperia Play lands in UK March 31st

Sony Ericsson Xperia Play is hitting UK next month. The Android gaming handset will actually available on March 31st. So, folks who live in UK and interested in gaming phone, you will be able to obtained your dream handset very soon.

The Xperia Play will be available in “all the mobile operators and retailers”. There are six games comes pre-installed when you purchase the device. As for pricing, its still to be announce.

Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo Images Get Leak

Sony Ericsson is adding another new device to Xperia family. This time it’s the Xperia Neo. The 4 inch LED backlit touchscreen android handset images was leaked today.

Featuring a 1Ghz Qualcomm processor, 512 MB RAM, 8 MP camera with LED flash on the back, and a front facing 2 MP camera. Not only that, it packed with Adreno 205 GPU which also used in the Xperia Play. The Xperia Neo is running with Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) with a TimeScape overlay. Sony Ericsson will unveiled the device at Mobile World Congress 2011.

Sony Confirmed Bringing PlayStation Suite for Android Smartphone

Xperia Play Android smartphone has now got its gaming content confirmed. At a PlayStation press event in Japan today, Sony has announced that it will bring a cross platform PlayStation Suite to other devices including Android and tablets. The content will at least include the games from first generation of PlayStation and will be sold through a gaming store called PlayStation Store on Android smartphone.

As for the supported Android smartphone, will the Xperia Play the only phone that you can use to buy/play games? It looks like Sony will allow other manufacturer to make other compatible Android smartphone to access the PlayStation Suite. The devices would just need to gain the PlayStation Certified license/logo from Sony

PSP Phone Spotted in Greece [caught on video]

Sony Ericsson new device so called Zeus has appeared in Greece. The device was caught on video showing off it’s Android OS but unfortunately not the portable gaming console. Sony Ericsson and PlayStation created Zeus as the revolution of smartphone in gaming world.

According to Techblog.gr, the device is running with Android 2.3 a.k.a Gingerbread. The device comes with a 4-inch that offers great touchscreen responsive. Check out the video of Sony Ericsson Z1 PSP phone.

Here Comes the Real PSP Phone with Android

No more PSP phone clone made-in-china, the real Playstation Phone is now leaked on Engadget Mobile in clear spy photo. The source is pretty confident that the leaked photo is accurate and is prepared to be released in year 2011.

Comes with a 1GHz Qualcomm CPU, the PSP phone is said to have a 3.7~4.1 inches display, 512MB RAM, 1GB ROM and integrated with Android OS. As a gaming device, the PSP phone has a slide-out gaming pad for better control feel. If the PSP games are running on Android OS, does it mean we can have the games supported on other Android smartphones? Check out the site for more photos.
