LG Optimus U1 Will Features Android 4.0 OS

Several images of unannounced LG smartphone has surfaced. The device will be known as LG Optimus U1. The handset will be the first LG smartphone that comes with Android 4.0 OS aka Ice Cream Sandwich.

There are not much details on the device itself. However, as we have know, the Ice Cream Sandwich was announced last month and is coming with the Nexus Prime.

myTouch & myTouch Q Dummy Arrived At T-Mobile Stores

Earlier this month both myTouch and myTouch Q was announced by T-Mobile. Along with the announcement, T-Mobile only stated that the device will be available “in time for the holidays”. Now, we have the dummy myTouch and myTouch Q models in at least one T-mobile store.

Aside from the myTouch and myTouch Q, there’s also the LG Doubleplay dummy unit and the Samsung Exhibit II 4G dummy. This just means that all the following devices should be available very soon.

T-Mobile Revealed LG DoublePlay

T-Mobile has announced the LG DoublePlay, a QWERTY slider that pairs with twin touchscreens. It runs on Gingerbread OS. As for the specs, take a pick on it after the break.

It features a 5-megapixels camera, a 1GHz single-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, a 3.5-inch main display upfront, with a smaller, 2-inch sub-display nestling between the split keyboard. It might get T-Mobile’s HSPA+ network along with WiFi b/g/n and Bluetooth. As for pricing and launch date, is to be announced.

T-Mobile myTouch & myTouch Q Pictures Caught In The Wild

LG myTouch and myTouch Q is heading to T-Mobile. Both devices pictures has been leaked today thanks to the folks from Tmonews. The picture below display the myTouch Q’s slide-out QWERTY keyboard.

The image below is a pre-production handset, therefore, it’s only normal to see some changes when the device actually hit the market. The myTouch Q has a 3.5-inch, 1GHz processor, and Android 2.3. While the myTouch features 3.8-inch display, and a 1GHz processor.

LG Announced Optimus LTE

On Tuesday, LG has officially announced the Optimus LTE. The handset will first launch in South Korea. It will comes with a 4.5-inch display “True HD IPS Display” accompany by 1280 x 720-pixel resolution.

The Optimus LTE features 20GB of storage, a dual-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz, 1GB of RAM, an 8-megapixel camera, a front-facing 1.3-megapixel camera for video chat, and a 1,830 mAh battery. It runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread. LG CEO and President Dr. Jong-seok Park said, “Our goal is to be a leading player in LTE devices by continuously offering best-in-class products based on our LTE patents and knowhow.”

SEOUL, Oct. 4, 2011 – LG Electronics (LG) today announced the Korean market
launch of LG Optimus LTE, the first mobile device in the country to offer 4G
connectivity with the highest resolution IPS display available on a smartphone.
