BlackBerry Torch 9850 Coming To Verizon In September 8th

RIM comes up with another full touchscreen BlackBerry smartphone. This time the device is heading to Verizon with codename Torch 9850. It will be available in September 8th.

The device packed with a 3.7-inch touchscreen WVGA (800 x 480) display, 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon single-core processor, and a 5-megapixel rear-facing camera with LED flash, capable of 720p video capture. It also offers 4GB of internal storage that’s expandable with a microSD card. Priced at $199.99 with a new two-years agreement. You can purchase the device via online starting on September 8th or directly at Verizon retail stores on September 15th.

BlackBerry Torch 9850 For Verizon Direct Fulfillment On September 8th & In Store On The 15th

Verizon folks will get to experience the BlackBerry 7 by this month. The BlackBerry Torch 9850 is hitting Verizon on September 8th via direct fulfillment. Followed by in-store sale on September 15th.

It would packed with a 3.7-inch 480×800 display, 1.2GHz processor, 5-megapixel camera with 720p video capture, 4GB of built-in storage, 768MB RAM, and of course, the BlackBerry 7 OS. Unfortunately, we haven’t been informed with the pricing yet.

AT&T’s Fall & Winter Roadmap Got Out

Folks from Pocketnow has leaked AT&T’s fall and winter roadmap. There are many devices that would attract your attention. We will starts from Windows Phone Mango. The Samsung Kupua and HTC Bunyip will hit the market in the fourth quarter. Both handsets will acquire an 8-megapixel camera and an 800 x 480-pixel display.

On the other hand, there’s RIM’s Torch 9860 will also lands in market in the fourth quarter and the Curve 9360 will be available soon in time for holiday season. It would packed with an 800 x 480-pixel display, a 1.2GHz processor and a 5-megapixel camera. Lastly, we will get to see a bunch of Android Gingerbread devices. There are the Pantech Nulu, the Samsung Singa SGH-i777, the Huawei Jengu, the Motorola Fuath MB862 (possibly the LTE-packing ATRIX 2), the Pantech Onza, and the Samsung Gidim SH-i927.

Android Home Button Shows Up On BlackBerry Promo Video

BlackBerry has just released their newest promo video for the new BlackBerry Torch. The handset is showing off the BlackBerry 7 OS. Unfortunately, it seems there’s an accident on the video.

If you pay a close attention to the video, in 15 and 27 seconds, you will notice the handset shows an Android home button. What’s more funny, the handset kept showing up for awhile. Check out the video here.

BlackBerry Torch 9810 Hitting AT&T On August 21st

Aside from Verizon and Sprint, AT&T is also joining in launching more new RIM’s product. The BlackBerry Torch 9810 will be available in AT&T stores starting on August 21st. This info was found on AT&T’s Facebook page.

The Torch 9810 is one of RIM’s new BlackBerry 7 devices. It features a large screen similar to Bold 9900. The device will cost you $49.99 with a two-years agreement.
