Latest phones and cell review

Alcatel has been producing a few low-end android devices up ’till now. However, the company is ready with an upgrade on their handset. Alcatel is coming with a hing-end smartphone called Alcatel 995.

The device currently running Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS but there is possibility the device will obtain the Android 4.0 OS by the time it release. It features a 4.3″ high resolution display, an unknown 1.4 GHz processor (no details on single or dual-core), a 5 megapixel camera with flash and 1.3 front for video chat.

Virgin Media has just announced very cheap handset called the VM560. The candy bar handset was manufactured by Alcatel One Touch. The device pricing at £9.99 with a £10 PAYG top-up and 300 texts for free.

The device features a 2-megapixel camera, MP3 playback, an FM radio, Wi-Fi enabled, and a microSD up to 8GB. Currently, it comes only in chrome black. However, the device pink version will hit the market by September 19th.

Most US consumers think of Alcatel as a 2nd rate cell phone manufacturer. However, view is not held throughout the world, Alcatel phones are quite popular in Asia especially in China.  But if their new slider the OT-C825 makes it way to the USA, opinions are about to change. (more…)
