Huawei Ideos U8150 and S7 Tablet Hands-On Videos

In Europe, there’s a show going on called IFA. This show has plenty devices especially Android devices. Huawei are one of company that interested in producing Android devices. In IFA 2010, Huawei introduced their new Android devices, the Ideos U8150 and the Ideos S7 tablet.

First and Foremost, the Ideos U8150. This handset is targeted for entry-level crowd. The Ideos U8150 will only cost $150 without contract. Interesting enough, despite the fact that the device is cheap, the features surely not what one would expected. It features Android 2.2, a 2.8-inch QVGA display, microUSB, and a 3.2MP camera on the back. Also, a capacitive touchscreen and 3G Mobile Hotspot that can be connected up to eight different devices. Unfortunately, the Ideos U8150 won’t be having a 1GHz processor.

And now, its time for the Ideos S7 tablet. Sadly, there was no network connection available. However, the Ideos S7 responsiveness of the homescreen wasn’t the best and sometimes we have to tabs more that two or three times. If Huawei managed to get the Ideos S7 tablet to the market after their announcement on May, they could have manage to succeed but it doesn’t seems like it now. Especially with the coming of the ViewSOnic ViewPad 7 and Toshiba Follo 100, the Ideos S7 will not be able to survive.
