Telkomsel, Opera’s preferred partner in Indonesia
Opera Software and Indonesia’s biggest network provider, Telkomsel, announced their partnership to deliver Opera Mini to 82 million customers. Both will distribute an optimized version of Opera Mini 5 which include some tweaks to the toolbar, billing integration and home page-content.
The operator also offers their customers a new Opera Mini data plan to make mobile browsing more cost efficient. “Working with Telkomsel is a very significant step for Opera, as it gives us great headway into the Indonesian market,” said Lars Boilesen, CEO, Opera Software.
Indonesia represents one of Opera Mini’s largest user bases, ranking second in usage worldwide.
