Sunday, May 31st, 2009

Saunalahti will launch the Nokia Messaging push email service to consumers across Finland. Nokia Messaging is expected to launch in Finland to Saunalahti subscribers in June 2009 at a price of 4.95 EUR per month. The monthly fee includes the Nokia Messaging service, a 4GB mailbox, and unlimited email data usage within Finland.

“Nokia Messaging is easy to use, and brings the most frequently used functions right upfront so that users have a comfortable mobile email experience on their devices. With a fixed monthly fee, consumers no longer need to be tethered to their PCs, but can get access to their mailboxes anytime, anywhere - even when they are at their summer cottages,” said Mr Panu Lehti, Product Manager, Elisa.

Nokia Messaging mobilizes email accounts from Elisa and Saunalahti, as well as email solutions from thousands of internet service providers (ISPs) and email service providers (ESPs) around the world on Nokia devices. Consumers can access up to ten personal email accounts on one single device. To mobilise their email account, all users have to enter are their email address and password, and emails are seamlessly pushed to their device. Nokia Messaging also makes it simple to read, send, forward and reply to emails, download and read attachments, and attach files to emails directly on their Nokia device.
