Enjoying connections of around 2Mbps (mega bits per second) throughout cars on the new shinkansen between Japan’s two biggest cities of Tokyo and Osaka would be a great experience.

This phenomenon shows us that business passengers want themselves always keep connected to the Web, even during their trip on the train.

The service will be charged from ¥500 (US$5.73) per day to ¥1,680  ($19.25) for a monthly subscription.

The price might not the issue for business travellers like Shinkansen passengers. However, they value high speed connection and reliability of the service.  And how about 2Mbps of hot-spot access  on the bullet-trains? Not bad :-)
