In case you haven’t been keeping up on the latest news, or have a terrible short-term memory we told you that the Eye-Fi was recently approved by the FCC. This of course meant it would be launching soon. We just didn’t expect it quite this soon.


Samsung i780: Slim Messaging Mobile with Optical Joystick

Samsung i780 is a slim messaging mobile phone based on Windows Mobile PPC with a full QWERTY keyboard. It has a large 2.55" TFT touch screen and an optical joystick, allowing for 360 degree navigation on menus, Internet and applications. It allows users to be connected at all times through HSDPA (up to 3.6Mbps) and 802.11b/g. It is equipped with A-GPS, while a full navigation package is also available.

NEC Corporation today announced the successful development of a wideband wearable antenna. The wideband wearable antenna is an antenna that uses a conductive fabric which can be attached to clothing and other items, or folded up for easy carrying. It is a high-performance mobile antenna that can act as a supplementary antenna in areas with poor reception.
