Sky IM-R200 ousts keypad

Wednesday, April 18th, 2007

The latest feather in Sky’s cap would be the IM-R200 slider cellphone as it comes in a very different format where the keypad is concerned, being replaced by a touchscreen instead. Additional features include 116MB of internal memory, a microSD memory card slot, audio and video playback, and a 2 megapixel camera with auto focus. The IM-R200 will most likely remain in its country of birth and would never see the light of day outside of Korea.

Monday, April 16th, 2007

Carphone has posted a picture of the upcoming Nokia 8600, claiming the cellphone is still so new it does not even have a name. This fashionable handset will be priced a wee bit cheaper than the Nokia 8800, but make no mistake about it, the 8600 will still be a premium handset by any standard. So far the only specifications we know about the 8600 would be its 2 megapixel camera, integrated MP3 functionality, and 1GB of internal memory, all running on a Series 40 operating system.
